Ambrym or Ambrin is a small volcanic island in the Malampa Province in the Vanuatu archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. Ambrym Island was named by expedition of Captain Cook who visited the island in 1774. Ambrym island is dominated by two volcanic craters at the top. The island is covered by lush jungles that cover the whole island. Two picturesque lava lakes are also found near the summit.
