Christianity started off as a small religious sect of Jews in
the first century AD to grow into one of the largest and most
influential religions the World have seen. We will try to
describe some of the differences between numerous branches of
this monotheistic religion and dispel some of the myths and
misconceptions that appeared in the Western culture in the past
few centuries. Despite accusations of excessive dogmatism
Christian dogma is actually fairly short. It was written in the
4th century after First Nicene Ecumenical Council in 325 AD and
after First Constantinople Ecumenical Council in 381 AD.
I believe in one God the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things
visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of
God, the only-begotten, begotten of the Father
before all ages;
Light of Light, true God of true God,
