Description of Ludwigsburg Palace

 

The official residence of Ludwigsburg Palace was constructed in 1704 by Duke Eberhard Louis. Ludwigsburg Palace initially started as a hunting lodge, but over time it grew in size and complexity. It was one of the most important palaces in the Kingdom of W├╝rttemberg until 1918 then the monarchy was abandoned and site of Ludwigsburg Palace was nationalized by the state.
