Milan Linate Airport (Enrico Forlanini Airport, IATA:
LIN), Viale Enrico Forlanini, Segrate. the Milan city airport with many
domestic and European flights, but not intercontinental.
By car
Foreigners who want to reach the center of Milan will necessarily first
pass through the outskirts of the city. It's not as difficult to get
around as it is downtown and the suburban area is also less congested.
Drivers wishing to visit the center of Milan may want to consider
parking their car in one of the public transport agency car parks
located around the city and continue by bus or metro. The cost is a few
euros, and parking in the center is both more expensive and more
problematic.
By public transport
The Metro reaches the
suburbs, but for many destinations the bus is the only alternative.
Consult the website of the Milanese Transport Company (ATM) for routes
and timetables.
1 Certosa di Garegnano, Via Garegano 28. The Certosa di Garegnano

take the bus for 3 stops, or alternatively, Metro MM3, Corvetto station
and take bus 77 for 8 stops.). Beautifully preserved medieval abbey
still run by monks today.
3 San Cristoforo Sul Naviglio, Alzaia
Naviglio Grande 122. A complex of two churches, the older one was built
in the 13th century on the site of places of worship dating back to the
times of the Roman Empire.

Research M^C^O was born within the political and theoretical path of a
group of people, the Art and Entertainment Workers, in dialogue with
other reality of the citizen movement and with a network of individuals
who are fighting throughout Italy to substantiate the idea of culture as
a common good.

8 Leonardo's Horse. A bronze sculpture
made according to an original project by Leonardo da Vinci. It is in the
courtyard of the San Siro racecourse, just behind the stadium. The
racing track is open on race days, but the courtyard is open every day.
9 Garage Italia (former AGIP service station in Piazzale Accursio),
Viale Certosa, 86, ☎ +39 02 2222 0307. Former service station designed
by architect Mario Bacciocchi for Agip, in 1952; renovated in 2017 by
the architect Michele De Lucchi, it is now the headquarters of the
Garage Italia restaurant-workshop founded by Lapo Elkann.
1 Watch a football match at San Siro (Meazza Stadium) (terminus of
tram 16 or a 10-minute walk from Lotto station, metro MM1.). Watch AC
Milan or Inter Milan at the famous Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, also known
as the San Siro, which is shared as the home stadium by both clubs.
Tickets for most matches are available in advance or on the day of the
match. The rivalry between the two teams is very heated, among the most
heartfelt in Italy, and the direct championship matches, known as the
Derby della Madonnina, are particularly expensive because they
systematically sell out. Beware of stadium touts who sell tickets for
much more than official tickets. As many as 60 matches a year are played
at San Siro from the end of August until the end of May. In addition to
the home games of the two teams, Meazza also regularly hosts home games
of the Italian national team.
2 water sports at the Idroscalo.
Practicing water sports or simply sunbathing is possible at the seaplane

there are also bars and nightclubs and it is used for open-air concerts.
